Jean-Dominique "JD" Fievet was raised in Lille, northern France, and graduated from Supinfocom school of digital filmmaking in 2000. After a short period of time working in a small animation studio in Luxemburg, he moved to Southern California in 2003 to join Blur Studio, where over a period of four years, he quickly established himself as an animation supervisor, and oversaw various trailers, cinematics and commercials for a diverse range of video games. He also directed the animation on Blur's acclaimed short film "A Gentlemen's Duel". He then moved on as a senior animator for major VFX and animation studios such as Rhythm and Hues, ReelFX and Sony Pictures Imageworks, where he helped on various films such as The Golden Compass, The Smurfs, G-Force, Arthur Christmas, and Hotel Transylvania. JD is currently Head of Animation at Psyop Los Angeles.
